My matriculation/ school certificate was rejected - why?

Modified on Tue, 24 Jan, 2023 at 1:47 PM

If you are enrolled at a university as a full-time student or you are a pupil then you can get started right away! As proof, you must upload a current certificate of enrollment or a school certificate in your profile. Of course, this must provide us with the relevant information about your full-time studies/school attendance. If we cannot see that the requirements are met, we must reject the document.

This is an example of a matriculation:

Reasons for rejecting an imma/school certificate

  • Document has expired (e.g. certificate for a wrong semester)

  • You have a different type of study than full-time study (see below)

  • The study type is not evident (it is not clear that you study full-time. In this case you can additionally upload further documents where is stated that it indeed is a full-time study)

  • Wrong document uploaded (e.g. certificate of admission or semester ticket - these are NOT proof of enrollment)

  • Duplicate (i.e. you already have a valid document in your profile)

  • The data you provided does not match the document (e.g. wrong name)

Alternative Proof

In case your matriculation paper doesn't state any information regarding your study/school visit being full-time, you're welcome to additionally upload your student health insurance certificate

Attention

Unfortunately, you cannot work for us if you are:

  • completing an in-company training course as a vocational student

  • a dual student

  • a part-time student

  • unemployed

  • currently taking a semester off

PLEASE NOTE: you can only upload documents in your profile, you can't send them in for verification via email! There is no need to contact us after uploading a document - we will process it as soon as possible and you'll get an according notification in you app and via email (in case is gets rejected).
